I am always looking for ways to be more organized and efficient in the kitchen. I recently came across a new product in a magazine – took a chance and ordered it, and am so gad I did! While I already own a handsome wrought-iron recipe book holder, it takes up some valuable real estate on my counter. I wanted something smaller that could easily be put away in a drawer when not in use, and something not so bulky.
With so many of us keeping our recipes online these days, a more modern gadget was needed for those times when I have printed out a recipe on a single piece of paper. Why do I like the Architec Recipe Rock so much? It just works! It has a unique curved surface – with a metal disc in the center – to which a magnetic ball attaches. The curved surface gives your pages a slight curve to them, allowing them to stand up and not fall over. Best of all – it will hold about eight (8) regular pages, recipe cards or magazine pages.
It measures approximately 2 1/2″ wide x 2″ deep x 2 1/4″ high and comes in a variety of colors – red, flat black, turquoise, green and white. For those with modern kitchens and stone or granite countertops, the black one would be perfect. Those with a retro kitchen will absolutely love the red choice, or one of the other bright colors. For those that like no color, then the white one is the obvious choice.
After using this kitchen helper a few times I soon realized that it also could be used for other things, such as a desktop tool in the office. They would also make excellent gifts; I’m even thinking of using them in our real estate gift baskets for housewarming gifts!
The Recipe Rock is earning some wonderful reviews, and rightfully so. Pick one up today and you, too, will be rockin’ in your kitchen in no time!
