Today I will review these Red White and Blue Straws, a colorful product that will not only work for our patriotic holidays coming up – but also for baseball, birthdays and picnic celebrations. That trait alone makes it a Winner in my eyes, because they can be used for multi-holidays and family gatherings. Another winning trait? They are 100% biodegradable.
There’s really not that much you can say about straws – but I will give it a try. The colors are really bright and cheerful, and they go fabulously with my current Patriotic Tablescape. They make a nice finishing touch to each place setting. I actually scrutinized the colorfulness of all the different straws I reviewed, and these paper straws are quality made – with bright hues. They are not plastic; they are paper straws and are very substantial to the touch. They had a much thicker wall than most straws I reviewed.
They were well packaged – with each pattern individually wrapped. There are a total of 100 straws (25 per pattern). They are approximately 7¾” tall. Because of their sturdy construction and thick walls, they don’t have a tendency to become soggy or flimsy as time goes on. This was not the case with most of the straws I reviewed. Several became “wet” to the touch or easily cracked. There was a visible difference in quality, and these Red White and Blue Straws purchased from Amazon were reigning supreme.
I was really impressed with their color and texture. There are a total of four patterns – two in red, two in blue. Appropriately, two of the four designs are stars and stripes! Not only are these straws perfect for Baseball and other special celebrations, but I believe these straws to be of such good quality that they would also be ideal for crafts. Their sturdiness makes them an excellent candidate for constructing a wreath or other craft project.
For now, I am staying focused on coordinating all my patriotic-themed products for my Red, White and Blue Tablescape. These straws go beautifully with the wreath I just made for the table, and will go perfectly sitting next to a bowl of Watermelon Stars! They also go well with some paper plates I recently found, which will be highlighted in another day or two. Stay tuned …
