To wake up on Valentine’s Day and be greeted by a heartfelt message is one of the loveliest ways to start a day. A sweet gesture it is, indeed, and it does not need to be complicated or expensive.
If you want your loved one to be greeted with something healthy on Valentine’s Day, as opposed to something full of sugar, then simply grab a bucket of raspberries at the market. That, in addition to a card, are all you need to make your family feel special.
I found some graphics and sayings online … printed them on cardstock paper … trimmed them like place cards (leaving enough room on top to fold down in the back and support the paper – like an easel) and simply placed the card in the middle of my Raspberry Valentine Heart. It looks beautiful sitting on a plate, and after all your loved ones have seen their greetings … the raspberries get tossed into cereals, cottage cheese, or whatever else you prefer.
Easy, beautiful, and inexpensive … this fruity heart is a healthy and sweet way to start off your loved one’s Valentine’s Day!
