It’s officially the first day of spring! May your days be blessed with warm sunshine, new beginnings and soft spring colors. I can’t imagine celebrating the new season without a vase full of beautiful tulips. They lean over their vessels so gracefully, looking very relaxed amidst their sea of lush green leaves!
As many of you know, I love glass … and this new spring season energized me to gather up all my soft-colored glassware. Paired with gorgeous tulips, these Whitehall and American Whitehall glasses were just gleaming with happiness and sunshine! These colorful “Coolers” are from the Whitehall and American Whitehall patterns.
For casual entertaining, I use the Whitehall glasses quite often – as they are very durable and bring an enormous amount of color and vitality to the table. When these pieces were being produced, they were available in a wide variety of colors, which you can see here.
While the Whitehall pieces don’t measure up to the high quality and craftsmanship of the Fostoria American pattern, they certainly make up for it with their durable and colorful product line. Whitehall was not handcrafted like Fostoria American; however, their faceted design still manages to capture and reflect daylight quite beautifully.
