I love spending time in my garden outdoors. If you are a flower that blooms with vibrant color, then I am probably one of your most amorous admirers. I am; however, a hater of species that attempt to eat my skin, or drink from my blood supply.
I was reading that Marigolds tend to repel mosquitoes. I don’t know if this is true, but I thought I would test the theory out. Apparently, or so the assumption goes … is that the smell of Marigolds is so pungent that the pesky critters find it offensive. I don’t mind the smell of the bright clusters and already use them near and in my food garden. They do help keep the bad bugs away, so I am intrigued to see if they really help with the mosquito population.
