Holiday Blessings

– Posted in: Tips, Thrills & Tales

I believe the Holiday Season has a way of making you look at yourself a little closer. Not physically, rather psychologically. Indeed – was I a good little girl (or boy) this year? It’s really not a question that should be directed only to children. If everyone in the world was asked this question, then we probably would experience more Peace on Earth.

Our lives get so busy during the year. One hardly has time to inhale or exhale. There are so many people that have blessed me with their friendship and kindness in my lifetime that I can hardly keep up with them. There are many folks that slip through the cracks of my good intentions, but forever stay in my heart. I have to remind myself that I am just one person and to remain sincere in my communication efforts.

It is during this Holiday Season that I am reminded of the many people that don’t need a daily, weekly, monthly, or even yearly “point of contact”. They are just there – in your life – and have no intention of leaving. They came into your life and made an impression. The impression is not only in your mind or memory; it is also in your heart.

Hector and I wish all our family and friends a Joyous New Year. We already have what we need in this life, so we are never in need of gifts. But, you – our friends, are the greatest gifts we possess. Thank you, and Merry Christmas.
