Black Friday 2011

in Things To Do, TIPS

Black Friday 2011If you are like me, you probably have friends and family (or even yourself) that love to go shopping right after Thanksgiving.  They call it … Black Friday.  This year it is Friday, November 25, 2011.

The name has always sounded so frightful to me, and by looking at some of the crazed faces captured on film during this shopping spree – it scares me even more!  Fears aside, it does seem that shoppers love the experience – and so the tradition continues on.

I recently stumbled across this website regarding Black Friday.  I must admit, it is quite good.  You basically get the inside scoop on discounts, promos and/or specials that the major retailers will be offering.  Hours of operation, prices, and a lot of other good info is mentioned.  They even have free apps for IPhone and Android so you can preview deals while mobile, create a shopping list and more!

Go ahead; check out http://www.tgiblackfriday.com.  Come the big day, you won’t waste time wandering from store to store to see what is for sale; you will already know before you walk in the door!  This tip should save you time and money, no matter where you live.

Happy Shopping, but do be careful – I would recommend keeping tiny tots away from the frenzy.
