During the summertime, I must have berries. There is absolutely no exception to this steadfast rule! Even if I can’t eat all the fruit at once, I make sure to freeze any excess – and always while the fruit is still at its peak of freshness. The season is bursting with berries of all sorts … from blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and more! I try to incorporate them into my diet on a daily basis. After all, berries are nutritious, refreshing, and so easy to prepare.
Berries with Yogurt Sauce is one of our most favorite recipes. Besides the fruit, the recipe only uses two ingredients! From beginning to end, it takes mere minutes to mix together. We serve it here at our house often – from breakfast to lunch … and even for dinner and dessert. Give this recipe a try; I think you and your family will enjoy it too!
Shopping Notes: The towels I used in my picture are from the Pioneer Woman brand (the Vintage Bloom set). You can buy them here. I just love their retro look and colorful pattern ♥
The vintage Sundae dishes are from the Fostoria American pattern. Even though they are called Sundae dishes, they are the perfect size for serving individual portions of fruit. With their crystal clear glass, all of the beautiful and robust colors of the berries shine through. They make for a beautiful presentation.
